South Africa : day - 13 to 16

 Day 13 : Hazyview
 
After lunch, experience an unforgettable encounter with the elephants! You will have the opportunity to live a unique interaction with these gigantic creatures you can touch them,  


exchange a few hugs and of course congratulate them with treats. Promenade elephant. What happiness! Dinner at the restaurant. Free afternoon to enjoy the hotel facilities. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.




 Day 14 : Hazyview - Panoramic Route - Safari in Burgersfort
  Lunch. Departure for Blyde River Canyon whose vertiginous cliffs rise to a height of 600 to 700 m. Be careful not to drop your camera! Since God's Window, you will have a splendid view of the region. We will continue on to the Giant Pots, rocks cleverly worked by erosion. Indeed, water and wind have joined forces to sculpt the rock shaped cylindrical cavities. The most spectacular view is the Three Huts. The set is dominated by impressive rock formations. What a confusing landscape! Dinner on the way. Continue to Burgersfort and arrival at the lodge. At dusk, jump in your 4x4 vehicle, always with the wind and explore the private grounds of the ranch. Dinner and overnight at your lodge (safe needless to say!) In the middle of the savannah.



Day 15 :  Burgersfort - Pretoria - Johannesburg
 
You look perfectly at peace in the midst of this magical place. Take the time to enjoy these intense moments in the heart of the savannah ... they are precious. Lunch and departure to Pretoria, the administrative capital of South Africa. On the way stop in the village of Dullstroom, famous for trout fishing and roses. Dinner in Pretoria. Visit the Voortrekker Monument: it is the essential piece of the puzzle to understand the Afrikaner people. Discovery of the Union Buildings. Built in a semicircle, they offer a breathtaking view of the city center. The inauguration ceremony of President Mandela there has also held on May 10, 1994. Continue to Johannesburg. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.



Day 16 : Johannesburg - Soweto - Johannesburg
 
After breakfast, panoramic tour of Johannesburg, large industrial megapolis, a place of all meetings of extremes. Visit the Apartheid Museum showing the rise and fall of the apartheid regime. The architectural covers 7 hectares and is a superb example of design, offering the international community a single South African experience. Tour of Soweto, one of the largest townships in South Africa that reflects the history of apartheid. Then stop at the home of Nelson Mandela where he lived before being incarcerated. Interestingly Soweto is the only place in the world where two Nobel Peace Prize, Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu lived on the same street.

Visit the memorial to Hector Pieterson, established in the name of the first victim of the 1976 revolt against the use of Afrikaans as the only language in schools. Moments of emotions ... After visiting these vibrant reality, it is time to head to the restaurant for dinner. Transfer to Sandton, a suburb of Johannesburg. Free time in what has become the main business center of South Africa. Dinner at restaurant and overnight at the hotel.
